TREKS (Travel for Reflection, Empowerment, Kinship & Sustainability) is founded on the principle that tremendous growth takes place when people work together for a common good. TREKS participants travel with us to see themselves change by working to make a positive influence in the world. An experience of true immersion to the lifestyle of the locals: living, working, sharing with them and eventually seeing the world as they see it... which allows participants to put into action the potential that has been waiting to manifest.

PROGRAM SUMMARY

True immersion experience:
  • An individualized itinerary that intentionally schedules and scaffolds each activity according to the group's needs and readiness for the next immersion experience.
  • Engage with personal local mentors who walks alongside with you through the journey, with frequent check-ins and processing of the experience.
  • Opportunity to participate in dinners with a local families for a true cultural immersion experience and bonds that will last a lifetime.
  • Participate in Community Collaborative Empowerment Projects for resume-building opportunities to connect, learn, and contribute. 
  • Opportunity to embark on a traditional "Rite of Passage" experience
